"Good Times For A Change..."

Good morning, day! Just hopped out of bed, morning breath and all, hair all a mess. Fit my Froggy Flip Flops snugly on my feet, mosied on downstairs to the comp, just to see who would love to start my day for me. And as I type this, I peer out of the nearby window, sunshine shining on through it so strongly. I can feel Spring creeping up from its bed - it's coming, and it's coming soon. Frankly, I can't wait for it. I wake up to the sun, and usually walk out of the house into the cold - not as wonderful as it'll be when I walk outside, and it's so lovingly warm. I've got class in about three hours, and I'll tell you, that that's one thing I could do without today. I'm not looking forward to Colloquium or Psyche - except for the unbelievably cute girls that I meet there. But those are stories I'll leave for better days. Heh, God I love females.

There's nothing better than some good Smiths songs before you start the day. I also listened to a couple of Pet Shop Boys jams - as for right now, I'm blasting "California" by Phantom Planet (another video with the book "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac in it, other than "Youth Of The Nation" by P.O.D.). With the guitar strapped around my neck, hanging so loosely, I'm cranking out incoherent chords (since I haven't learned the tabs yet). What a way to start the day! I love it! I'm in some really weird and happy mood right now. I feel as if nothing can go wrong today (but I'll let fate try to prove me wrong, fail or succeed).

My pants are hanging loose; I look like a wreck. I guess I must've had an unusually good night's sleep. MmMmMm.

I think it's time for me to really wake up, and put a sunny day song on. Is it time? Shall I do it? Is the day ready for "This Charming Man" by the Smiths? IS IT?!?! Well, in any such case, I'm goin' for it - time to turn the volume knob strictly to the right - tighten the guitar strap - and get up to start dancing. Time for a good ol' hop-around. BWAHAHAHA!!!

"This Charming Man" by The Smiths

Punctured bicycle/On a hillside desolate/Will nature make a man of me yet ?/When in this charming car/This charming man

Why pamper life's complexities/When the leather runs smooth/On the passenger seat ?

I would go out tonight/But I haven't got a stitch to wear/This man said "it's gruesome/That someone so handsome should care"

A jumped-up pantry boy/Who never knew his place/He said "return the rings"/He knows so much about these things/He knows so much about these things

I would go out tonight/But I haven't got a stitch to wear/This man said "it's gruesome/That someone so handsome should care"/Oh, la-la, la-la, la-la, this charming man .../Oh, da-da, da-da, da-da, this charming man ...

A jumped-up pantry boy/Who never knew his place/He said "return the ring"/He knows so much about these things/He knows so much about these things/He knows so much about these things

^ BWAHAHAHA! Okay, so maybe the lyrics sound awkward and strange. But the song is jumpy as hell. "Jumped-up", even. What a great song. I think I'm ready to start the day. On another note, this entry gets me ahead of Eric by one - but that'll soon be broken. I just thought it was a nifty deal, finding out we were even last night. But I'm not too sure Eric was in such a fine mood to receive that news. Well, we all have our days, right? In any vein, I think I should go. My scrubby ass needs to take my morning shower, and get ready for that dreadful thing called class. I'm certain I could learn just as much, if not more, with my library card - than I can with my scholarship. You know? Hehe, but that's a theory that'll go untested.

I hope all of you, my readers - have a wonderfully splenderific day. Take care, stay safe, and God bless. Ta ta. May you have the best day, and make the best of it. Life's a wheel; don't focus on the spokes. <=0)
